The SIO Good Environment 2008 Award organized by SIO
was released for the first time in 1999.

The Award is given to pay attention to the common neighbourhood and environmental solutions which have made positive impact on people. The Award can be given to an interior, city surroundings, a project, an innovation etc.

The SIO Good Environment Award will be granted in INTERIORE 08, Helsinki 7^thMay 2008.
The prize is given to the main library in Turku that is considered to be an excellent example
of a good interior design. It has become a popular public living room where children as well
as elderly people feel at home.

The Jury also gives a “DIMPLE 2008” -medal to YLE TV1 production called ‘Taloraati’,
(The House Jury).
